Herald Sun FUD up once again
Quality stuff once again from our wonderful tabloid:
... "over five months ago" should be what that title reads; bravo to HS for more misleading bullshit, both in its information, and how it was painted as only having happened last weekend!
Great to see that they just filed this one for a rainy day when they had nothing better (hah) to publish. Either that, or they were legally muzzled and could only come out with it now.
Get scared parents, this is what every single member of Victorian youth is up to! Yes! Drugs, and drinking floor cleaners, and then getting fed speed when they collapse in an attempt to revive them! *sigh*
Of course, why stop there... why not followup with another ripper on the front page the next day!
Shock horror! An illicit drug has weird shit in it?!?!? Naw, you're kidding, right? I assume they think this is intelligent content, and bringing all this to the attention of "concerned" parents. Y'know what it does? It only greatens the divide between the two, because the parents will be shit scared and hound their kids about it, whether or not they even do any drugs.
Aside from everything else, what scares me the most about this story is that the girl was a nurse. Should have known better would be the thing to think, no? Furthermore, if you're getting into a known drug dealers' car, would you just blindly grab bottles of ANYTHING and drink from them?!?!?
Where were her mates? Where was the dealer, for six hours? Why doesn't this glorious news agency talk about any of that?
Very sad, that this is what we as a society need to obcess over. Sensationalism.
If you're interested, read the "articles" (and I use that term very, very loosely), here and here.
