LOCK 'EM IN!
I got a call from the Real Estate agent on Tuesday evening, wanting to talk about leases... After around 2+ years of being lease (and hence contract) free, and having lived here for over three years, the new agent wants to tie me down with one. The only justification she gave was that it "made good business practice" and whatnot.
There's me thinking, "hmm, what about what your client wants, which last I heard was that there were no problems with me being on a month to month basis." No no, they must keep their business afloat, and that matters more.
Anyhow, I'll go for something short. It does give me a bit of security too, which was about the only valid and useful point she made. Oh, that and a small rent increase, "as it hasn't gone up in years." Yeah, neither has my fucken wage, gonna fix that up too?
Anyhow, the good thing that came out of it is that they have no problems with me getting a pet... so yeah baby, I'm gonna get me a cat again soon :) :)
Hell, that may even help with my stomach and general "what the fuck am I doing right now with my shit" quandry.
